I’ve been beta testing the new Rhapsody MP3 player coming out from RealNetworks and Sandisk. The MP3 player is nice, but the thing that makes me excited is how seamlessly Rhapsody works with the device. I’ve been listening to the new Tom Petty, G. Love & Special Sauce and John Mayer albums all on my Sansa Rhapsody player using just my Rhapsody subscription and the new player.
What I like best about the Rhapsody MP3 Player:
- The player can go up to 10GBs. Buy the 8GB model and add a 2 GB memory card
- The integration with Rhapsody is perfect. It extends Rhapsody to a mobile device much the same way the iPod extends iTunes.
- The player has an FM Tuner and a voice recorder. Handy.
- It’s a small flash memory type player so it is super portable like the Nano.
- The wheel lites up blue and is easier to spin - I’ve always had an issue with the mini and the nano on that.
- There are lots of additional features in there that make it extra sweet - stay tuned for more details and full review when launched.
