Playlists are lists of songs you create to take care of a certain mood (rockin’, lovin’, etc.), artist (The Tragically Hip) or situation (party, dinner, random). They are easy to create, live with your Rhapsody account regardless of which computer you are on and can be shared to the public or emailed to a friend. Here is the simplest way to create a playlist:

1) You need to have the songs you want on the playlist either in Your Library or in The Mixer. You can add songs to Your Library just by clicking on the “+” button next to the album, song or artist. The Mixer automatically adds the songs played recently.
2) You can add either songs on your harddrive, songs streamed through rhapsody or songs downloaded from Rhapsody, but not purchased.
3) Click in File in the upper left hand corner of Rhapsody and then select New Playlist.
4) Create a name for this playlist. The playlist now shows up in your list of My Playists in the window above the mixer.
5) At this point, you can add songs to the playlist by dragging them from the mixer or opening your library and dragging songs from there into the playlist.
6) Clicking on the name of the playlist opens it up and you can rename the list, share the list to Playlist Central, email the playlist or create blog tracks. You can also change the order of the songs by clicking on the song>holding down the mouse>dragging it up and down.
7) If you have a CD burner on your PC, you can build a playlist and burn it to a CD later which is really handy if you have created that KILLER mix (my Best Disco Ever mix is legendary!).
