How else do you explain Sanjaya staying another week on idol? Oh, I know why - the good folks over at www.votefortheworst.com (VFTW) who have taken Sanjaya on as thier cause of the day. VFTW got another big boost from Howard Stern who promoted the site on the 13th and encouraged his listeners to vote for Sanjaya.

I don’t have a problem with VFTW because it shows the power of the internet and opens huge holes in the voting system set-up by American Idol. Did 28 million people really vote or was it 1 million people voting 28 times each? I bet even the producers of American Idol know. Either way, I hope it stops. Sanjaya or Hayley have to go home. I’d rather Hayley stick around as she is way cuter (although the “what will the stylists do to Sanjaya’s hair” is kind of a fun sub-plot.
